Rampant paedophilia in the Middle East

September 28, 2009, an article titled "the critics want an independent investigation into violence against the children of Afghanistan," appeared in the press. In short, it describes in this case the rape common concern is of children by military Afghan boys, young adults. A quote from the article paints the picture:

"Sexual abuse of boys by the Afghan army and police members are therefore generally known that Canadian and other foreign soldiers have invented a phrase for it;" they call it "Man-Love Thursday," even if at least one soldier noted that the rape of children were also held on other days. »

"Man-love Thursdays" are not limited to the Afghanistan just Afghan or military.

The sexual exploitation of children is a common good and, in many countries averages-orientales and Eastern, officially sanctioned. In the Western world, make us reference to the "activity" as a crime - pedophilia - and certainly have the United States implemented drastic consequences for anyone who participates in it. Not the case in the Middle East.

A few weeks ago an editorial described the death of a girl 12 Yemeni of years who died with her baby, while trying to give birth. Children, some of which are capable of pregnancy, are unable to give birth. their body little are simply not built for it. The result is that these children die painfully or suffer from obstetric fistula, prematurely, stillbirth and sexually transmitted diseases (including cancer of the cervix).

To add insult to the prejudice of the abhorrent abuse of the results of the children in the protection of the author than the child. The Act may be legally sanctioned marriage. A recent case was a man in his 80's married to the 10-year-old girl. If the victim is a man, there is a chance that they will be accused of being homosexual if they protested to the authorities; homosexuality is a crime punishable. In many cases the victim is treated as a pariah - sometimes killed by their own families - allowing themselves be raped. The rape of a boy is not considered as breaking the rule before the marriage. (Take a moment and digest this paragraph).

To take a country for example, according to the United Nations Population Fund, the widespread prevalence of marriage of children in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been well documented by human rights groups. Saudi Arabia clerics have justified the marriage of girls from the age of 9 years, with the sanction of the judiciary. There is no law setting the minimum age of marriage in Saudi Arabia and also girls young eight years can marry.

And it's just legitimate paedophilia. Rapists of children in the Middle East are rarely prosecuted. The subject is taboo and swept under the carpet. It is accepted in silence. Make no mistake however that it is a silent, horrible, deliberate practice.

Paedophilia is deeply rooted in Arab culture. Same Muhammad, the founder of Islam, is recorded as having participated. According to Islamic texts the child, Aisha was six or seven years old when betrothed to Muhammad. It remains to be the home of his parents until the age of nine, when the marriage was consummated in Medina. "Consumed," now he's thinking for nine years and a middle aged man.

If the West consider pedophilia with this disgust and punish hard so why us tolerate it in Arabic and in other countries? Are the children of these countries less worthy of protection? Why not demand a stop to it and the implementation of punitive solutions? Why do business with companies who turn a blind eye to such flagrant criminal behaviour?

Paedophilia is a horrible crime and should be viewed as how that culture, tradition or religious beliefs. Child rape is a sin like no other. It can replace the murder in some minds.

So what it comes down?

The treatment or mistreatment of women and children in these societies must change. There is always a cause to unite the women of the world, it is the realignment of the Arab, Muslim and other societies dominated by men to treat women as equal as opposed to the property; to make paedophilia, a capital crime and protect the many rules that children societal strike that marriage before the age of 18.

"He did y no keener revelation of the soul of society than the way it treats its children." Nelson Mandela.
