Considering a job in the Middle East?

A large part of the world is still struggling to recover from the great crash economic caused by banks illegitimate themselves and failures that caused the usual methods of trade upon which our economies are based. Even China taken something of a cold and analysts are now warning that this economic titan will soon find itself the victim of a "correction".

However, a region, continues to defy economic gravity and continues to index Records growth in GDP. This region is, of course, the Gulf.

With its natural oil reserves, Middle East is depreciated in some measure of the worst of the fallout from the financial crisis. While ever, there is demand for gasoline, plastics and petrochemicals, the countries of the region will still have markets for their core product.

As their economies have boomed over the past two decades on the back of a growing demand for oil, an entire infrastructure grew to support - financial services to the transportation building, entertainment and hospitality.

Accordingly, the skills of these industries are in high demand - and more often meet in the West. So if you're stuck in your search of a career in Europe or America, you can be attracted by the prospect of working in Middle East.

If you think taking advantage of this opportunity, here are a few things that could benefit from knowing it or examine.

You will be away from home for some time - be honest with yourself and ask how this would be consistent with your family life. While movements are fairly easy to do, which takes time and money of what you earn
Not all regions are very "Western" in outlook. While Dubai may seem like a town in the West, there is still much more severe social constraints that you may be used for. Women in particular are expected to dress with a certain degree of decorum and drunk behavior can quickly put you on the wrong side of the law
Some skills are more in demand than others. Do research to find out what roles are available in what country and know if you have the possibility to carry out these types of roles
Local laws for the employment of research. The Gulf is home to Western firms, local conditions of employment may be very different from those at home.
You mean heat? Offices could be air conditioning, but if the Sun is not in agreement with you then you can go somewhere where it is not such a big factor in life!

Erroll Strange takes a great interest in the market of the Middle East , as his two nieces work there and their laudatory reports him to think long and difficult subject if a contract of 12 months there could be interesting in the light of the dark times at home!

Many say the United States should butt out of their participation in the Middle East, what is with you?

We currently most academics and virtually all people Liberal-Socialist leaning in our nation in the belief that the way to solve the problems in the Middle East with respect to the participation of the United States is "win the hearts and minds"., but is this even possible is to ask in the recent history? What do you think such concepts?

Being "Aimée and respected" might not work, and it would be wonderful that if she could, however, it is not really seem likely to be trashing world media to the United States and Al Jazeera, well that is indeed daily. Okay, being "afraid and respected" I suppose that is the other option, because it is a little difficult to win the heart or mind, a person when the mass media that controls the minds of these populations is another order of the day? Have you read Henry Kissinger Essays - any thoughts on some of the Rand Think Tank articles on this subject?

Should we not take everything that also into consideration? While many have noticed that previous leaders have committed errors in Middle East and foreign policy, as is always the case, I am afraid current leader may worsen things and bring things to a point where the leaders of tomorrow will be the heroes of the third world warwars caused by any lack of their own and without policy options, as the stalemate has already been reached far prior. And before decide you on my comments here, have you read one of these books, and please do not tell me that you have no time, or that it is too late, because we are in the midst of a potential crisis that could explode (literally) in our faces in Israel and in surrounding areas;

"Walking to Hell" by Michael Scheuer".""Bright as the Sun in Baghdad" by Bhatia "War footing" by Gaffney"Countdown ofJerusalem" by Hagee"Dangerous power" by Chomsky"The threatening storm" by Pollack".""UN exposed" by Shawn".""War and decision" by Feith

Avoiding thus the third world war would be good, now at least the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be wonderful and much requested will be he never peace in this region? It is indeed possible, it is possible, and although that unlikely, the solution must be long term. Our strategies of State Department diplomatic good-Guy-Bad Guy are often ephemeral and even if we all go home and ourselves for a well-done job congratulate this hour, last, or perhaps the next time, just what we have done is struck can in the alley way. Is - this really good enough?

Perhaps our best thinkers must brain storm on this subject, and we need to get on the same page. We should not blame the last administration - look at what they had to deal with. Either way, I am not an apologetic President Bush because I followed the situation all the time and watched events take place and change the media. Recently, I found the film Green Zone to be less honest with reality and only showing one side of a very complex situation. I am afraid that we have written history and allowed media garbage of our nation and the former President. And, in doing so, those opposed to will be once again, because they can.

Thus, I do would be not placed too confidence by winning a media war in one of our involvement in the Middle East. If we do anything, we must be prepared to take this hit of media, or out Al Jazeera in advance and gets in another matter, and it is somewhat diametrically opposed to what we pretend that we defend here in our own country.

Therefore, if we continue shaping our diplomatic policy, war strategies and decisions of how we are going to be seen by the media around the world, then why not just hand over the keys to Washington DC and send everyone home? Think that, as the media are now our fourth branch of Government, and it controls the other three, and the spirit of the American people, a tragedy what pure and absolute, much worse that Greek tragedy.

The blood of fools is to pollute the sands of the Middle East

What is - this with all the shock on religion and all these wars in the Middle East in the 2000s? It is incredible that the cultures and civilizations can learn from their mistakes, because they are so busy killing each other, with cheating and Machiavellian tactics that they prevent their culture to come in the current period.

As the third world war of approaches and the blood of fools is to pollute the sands of the Middle East , one has to ask why? What is this anyway? Some old text and some ancient religion that person cannot simply empty and move forward with their lives? Why people insist on themselves blowing for a figure of literature in a text that they probably can still read and rely on someone else to tell them what he said?

Is there that a doubt that the y will be more wars in the Middle East in this decade? The Syria and the Iran, and it is doubt that the blood of fools is to pollute the sands of the Middle East. Glance that sand is already the color, it is for a reason and has no need to be painted read disruptive humans because some led countless masses in a March of death to the radical cult as beliefs? Someone will hit some meaning in these people, or have they already hit the head on the floor enough already? Take account of this in 2006.

United States were warned about the Nakba

By Dallas Darling

Even alleged terrorists have authentic complaints, obvious truths that cannot be denied with regard to State-sponsored terrorism. This old security was again revealed when isrælske soldiers shot and massacred more than 20 Palestinian demonstrators and injured several hundred more. Their crime was commemorating the Nakba, an event when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were killed or militarily forced to flee from their homes, while Israel was a new State. the Palestinian demonstrators, killed along with steel barricades in Lebanon and occupied the Golan Heights and the Gaza Strip and West Bank, not only requires the attention of the Palestinian Nakba, also known as day disaster and a tragic memories, as Israel has outlawed and tried to remove, but they also demonstrated on behalf of Palestinian refugees and their right to return to their home countries.

In 1948, when the Truman administration and much of the United States the creation of Israel even before the United Nations did and immediate aid and military support recognised, was Palestinian survivors of the Deir Yassin spread naked, were loaded on open trucks and paraded through Jerusalem where they were spat on, beaten and stoned. Zionists lo and stroked by women was cut over their chest. A passing Palestinian mother pulled quickly his young child away from the horror-filled scene, but not before he shouted, "Momma's House, looking at blood." His name was Sirhan Sirhan.(1) following the murder of Robert f. Kennedy in 1968 and at his trial, Sirhan delivered a grievance, a warning to the United States on its unwavering support for Israel at the expense of Palestinian refugees.

"Well, sir, when you move-when you move a whole country," said Sirhan, "whole body people from their own home, from their own country, from their companies, sir, outside their country, and to introduce a foreign people, sir, in Palestine-Jews and Zionists-it is quite forkertsirand it is unfair and the Palestinian Arabs did a thing, sir, to justify the way they were treated by the West. "He explained how forced relocations and massacres deeply affected him asks," where is the Justice involved, sir? Where is the love, sir, are fighting for the underdog? Israel is not the underdog in the Middle East, sir. It is these refugees who are underdogs. And because they have no way of fighting back, sir, sir, Jews, Zionists, just keep marketing plan away on them. than roasted hell out of me. "(2)

In its final storage media and just before his murder, warned Osama bin Laden, the United States and the Americans that they would not live in safety until the Palestinians fine in security. A sickly and pale-looking bin Laden declared, "America will not be able to dream of security until we live in safety in Palestine. It is unfair that you live in peace while our brother in Gaza live in insecurity. " Just as Sirhan thought bin Laden back to 1982 when he saw the United States and its warships bombing, killing and wounding many Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, while others fled in horror. In "The Towers in Lebanon," bin Laden wrote: "I still remember the appalling scenes: blood, torn limbs, women and children were massacred. Everywhere, houses destroyed and tower blocks hide, crush their bebøre, while bombs spread mercilessly on our homes. "(3)

And just as Sirhan, bin Laden wondered how "the entire world" could hear and see what had happened but still do nothing. In another letter, this one entitled "to The Americans," explains bin Laden why he fights United States and its military and he wants. The very first reason he expresses is: "because you attacked us and continue to attack us. You attacked us in Palestine. "(4) according to bin Laden, "Palestine, which have wrecked military occupation for more than 80 years. The British handed over Palestine, with their help and their support for the Jews, who have occupied for more than 50 years; years is overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killings, displacement, destruction and devastation …The blood pouring out of Palestine must be equally avenged. "(5)

United States and Americans must one day realize that Arab Palestinians not weep alone; their women are widowed alone; their sons are orphans alone; and their peaceful demonstrators slaughtered by isrælske soldiers do not die alone.

(Note: while abhorring violence perpetrated by both Sirhan and bin Laden, the Palestinians should be commended for their non-violent Intifada uprisings.)

The Palestinians are more sceptical about Middle East talks (AP)

RAMALLAH, West Bank, Palestinian officials said Saturday that Isræls dismissive response to President Barack Obama new Middle East peace proposal evidence there is not enough common ground for meaningful negotiations.

Despite these skepticism seemed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas not hurry to announce his next move. He instructed his advisers to avoid public comment, probably to keep attention focused on isrælske prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, there seems to be set on a collision course with Obama.

The US President said this week that isrælsk-Palestinian borders negotiations should be based on Isræls before the 1967 war lines with mutually agreed land swaps, adopt a formal long sought by the Palestinians but rejected by Netanyahu.

Finally, presents his own vision of the rough outlines of a peace agreement, pace Obama deeper into the Middle East struggle after more than two years on the sidelines. But he does not submit an action plan with his ideas, and responses from both sides announced that the chances of renewal talks largely on hold since 2008, still more remote.

Obama and Netanyahu is to resolve quietly lobbying group AIPAC on Sunday and Monday, respectively. The isrælske leader are planning also to deal with Congress on Tuesday. White House spokesman has said Obama will talk about the strong ties between Israel and the United States, but does not deliver a policy speech.

Strain in the relationship was apparent Friday after a two-hour White House meeting between Obama and Netanyahu. In the tv cameras, Netanyahu at times seemed to lecture Obama, and suggested the President's ideas are unrealistic, fail to say that "peace based on illusions" quickly.

Among Abbas ' senior aides, meanwhile, seemed to be some disagreement over tactics.

Chief negotiator Saeb fine said it is best for the Palestinians to keep quiet and let Netanyahu make the speech.

"We accept two States based on 1967 lines with agreed swaps ... and we wish Mr. Netanyahu say this sentence," said fine. "We hope to hear it in Congress on AIPAC in Hebrew, Arabic, Dutch, English, in all languages."

Well said it is too early to talk about what you should do if Obama fails to renew peace talks. Abbas ' aides have prepared to bypass the negotiations with a bid in September to win's recognition of a State in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, territories Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war.

Another senior aide, Nabil Shaath, said he expects Abbas to renew his support for the UNITED NATIONS in the coming days — unless Obama somehow persuades Netanyahu to change course and accept the 1967 borders as a baseline.

"It is very clear that Obama attempts (to restart negotiations) was shot down by Mr. Netanyahu," said Shaath Saturday, add, unless there is an isrælsk reversal, "we will continue our work until September and will continue to search countries recognize Palestine."

It is unlikely Netanyahu will change course when he responds to a right-wing coalition home and told Obama Friday, to the 1967 borders would be "reckless." Netanyahu did not touch on the idea of swaps, which likely will allow Israel to annex parts of the West Bank with large Jewish settlements, provided it compensates the Palestinians with the same amount of isrælske soil.

Netanyahu has repeatedly said he is willing to resume negotiations, but Abbas said he did not make it, as long as Israel to stop building homes for Jews in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Obama speech on Thursday, Abbas has since been consulting with Arab Foreign Ministers on the phone and heading to Jordan Saturday for talks with King Abdullah II. He is also to meet with the leaders of the PLO and his Fatah movement and has requested a meeting of Arab League Foreign Ministers later this month, said fine.

Obama has warned the Palestinians that a UNITED NATIONS bid would not get them a State.

But Abbas may not interrupt the move because of growing expectations at home, said Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Executive Committee, the PLO. "I personally predict public is committed to the United Nations," said Ashrawi. "Netanyahu managed to undermine every single attempt to engage in serious negotiations".

There seems to be some confusion over what the UN's general Assembly be able to offer the Palestinians, if a recognition bid is the veto of the United States in the Security Council. An internal Palestinian document said the Palestinians should then ask the general Assembly to establish a UNITED NATIONS trusteeship in the isrælsk-occupied territories, while Shaath suggested the Palestinians at best could win an upgraded observer status.

In Israel, senior officials played down the potential damage isrælsk-US relations after the clash in Obama peace vision.

"I believe that when we hear all the details, it would be clear that the meeting was less dramatic than it was done," defense minister Ehud Barak, a centrist, told Israel television channel 2. "I do not think the President said you must go back to the ' 67 lines. He said you have to talk about borders on the basis of ' 67 lines with the relevant swaps. "

Netanyahu's blunt rejection of much Obama vision seemed still to further isolate Israel.

The Quartet of Middle East negotiators include the United States, the United Nations, the European Union and Russia said it supports the President's parameters and is in "full agreement on the urgent need" to solve the isrælsk-Palestinian conflict.

Top Jewish Americans think about support for Obama (Reuters)

CHICAGO (Reuters) — some prominent Jewish Americans are rethinking their support for President Barack Obama 2012 re-election bid after he effectively called on Israel to give back territory it has occupied since 1967 to the Palestinians.

Setback after Obama Keynote on the Middle East have democratic party operatives scrambling to heard the Jewish community as the President prepares to seek another term in the White House.

Obama on Thursday called for any new Palestinian State to respect the borders as they were in 1967, prompting isrælske prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to tell him frankly that his vision of how to achieve Middle East peace was unrealistic.

"He has in effect sought to reduce the Isræls negotiation power and I condemn him for," told former New York mayor Ed Koch Reuters.

Koch said he could not campaign or vote for Obama if the Republicans appoint a calm candidate offers an alternative to the latest tough budgetary measures supported by the Republicans in Congress.

Koch donated $ 2300 Obama campaign in 2008, according to Filings with the Federal Election Commission.

"I trøde to then-Senator Obama would be as good as John McCain based on his statements at the time, and based on its support for Israel. It turns out was wrong, "he said.

Despite the stormy reaction to Obama remarks mentioned some commentators talk about the 1967 borders were nothing new.

"It has been the basic idea for at least 12 years. This is what Bill Clinton, Ehud Barak and Yasser Arafat was talking about in Camp David, and later at Taba, "wrote Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic homepage.

"This is what George w. Bush spoke with Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert. So what are the huge treat here? "

Exit polls from the 2008 elections showed 78 percent of Jewish voters chose Obama over his Republican rival Senator McCain.

"I have spoken with a lot of people in the last few days--former supporters--as very upset and feel alienated," said billionaire real estate developer and Publisher Mortimer Zuckerman.

"He gets less political support, fewer activists for his campaign, and I am sure, will include financial support."

Zuckerman supported Obama during his 2008 presidential run and the newspaper he owns, the New York Daily News, endorsed President.

Obama's Chicago-based re-election campaign tried to downplay the reaction to the Shift in U.S. stance against Israel.

"There is no doubt that we have reached the Jewish donor community, as we have many other communities, which strongly supported the President in 2008," said a campaign spokeswoman Friday.

"Continuing the grassroots organizing and fundraising efforts of many prominent leaders in the Jewish community makes it clear this will remain a strong base support in 2012."

Texas-based real estate developer Kirk Rudy, who is a Vice-President of finance for the Democratic National Committee, said he exchanged phone calls and messages with a large network of supporters since the President's speech "is trying to take people's pulse" and have not seen a strong setback.

"I have seen very clearly, and robust support--and financial support--from the Jewish community," said Rudy, add Obama received "significant financial participation from the Jewish community" on the two charitable organizations in Austin before the speech, the Middle East, which brought in approximately 2 million dollars.

Since the speech, Rudy has received e-mails from angry voters, but the overwhelming majority of his network will continue to donate and not crossing party lines, he said.

But Morton Klein, President of the Zionist Organization of America, wrote an open letter to the American isrælske Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, encourages it to cancel a scheduled address by Obama to lobby group Sunday.

Close attention to Obama last words about Israel (AP)

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama tries to allay some of America's largest supporters of Israel after he joined the Jewish nation 1967 borders as the basis for a Palestinian State and clashed with isrælske prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a speech Sunday to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Obama was not expected to sketch out another significant U.S. policy shift but probably will focus on the deep U.S.-isrælske alliance.

But almost everyone in the room wanted to see how the Chairman addresses his remarks from Thursday, when he said that a future Palestine should be designed around the border lines that existed before Israel captured the West Bank, Gaza Strip and in East Jerusalem, with land swaps to take account of isrælske settlements and other changing conditions.

Obama endorsement moved U.S. position from noting the Palestinian goal of a country based on these terms and leaves the result to be settled through negotiation. By eliminating the hue, he stated, mainly what almost every Observer assumed would be the border lines of a two-State solution with mutually agreed adjustments.

Still, the change prompted bitter criticism from Netanyahu. And in a blunt display of differences between the two leaders disagree openly after a Friday meeting at the White House. Netanyahu called the 1967 demarcation "indefensible" and issued a flat rejection of the idea.

"It will not happen," he said. "Everyone knows that it will not happen."

Netanyahu, who will address the calm lobby Congress on Monday and Tuesday played down the rift.

"The differences have been blown out of proportion," he told The Associated Press on Saturday. "It is true we have some differences, but these are among friends".

Obama was to depart later Sunday for a weeklong European tour seeking tendency to old friends in the Western alliance and ensure their help with the political upheavals throughout the Arab world and the ten-year long conflict in Afghanistan.

Obama will visit Ireland, England, France and Poland.

The trip comes in the midst of the ongoing NATO-led bombing campaign in Libya and a seemingly intractable conflict between Moammar Gadhafi's forces and Libyan rebels. The negotiations will also include economic concerns, as European countries makes sharp cuts in public spending and Obama and Congressional Republicans try to hash out how to cut spending to bring U.S. debt under control.

Iran sees rise in oil prices, if you are interested in learning more about the year by the end of 2011 (AFP)

TEHRAN (AFP)-Iranian, who chairs the oil producers ' cartel, OPEC, said on Tuesday it expects the global crude prices continue to rise by the end of 2011, the Secretary-General called on the wealthy G8 countries reduce fuel taxation.

"The oil price will depend on two things. First, the basics, such as the demand and supply, and then in the political, psychological and unforseen elements. In the light of these factors should be included in the price of oil by the end of the year again, "the Iranian representative to the OPEC STATES, Mohammad Ali Khatibi, told Tehran journalists.

He said oil demand in 2001 is high, 1.3 million barrels per day to 1.6 mbpd.

"What is certain is that we will see demand growth," he said.

On Monday, the Secretary General of OPEC, Abdullah El-Badri had expressed its concern over high oil prices, but added the market had adequate supplies of raw materials.

"We see that at this time is 15-20 dollar risk premium," Badri told Kuwait journalists.

On Tuesday he was in Tehran for the 50th anniversary for OPEC and reiterated that, with the crude oil market was adequately.

He said the market was not "no shortage" of oil. "OPEC has repeatedly said there is no shortage of oil throughout the world and the stocks are high," El-Badri told reporters.

"OPEC is done in turn ensure that the market has sufficient supplies of crude oil and is useful with this challenging time-consuming countries, which impose high taxes on oil, even on a temporary basis, because we see an exceptional solution for taking that needs repair."

"We ask the Governments of the G8 countries, which are formed of more taxes and more money in taxes than producing Nations not to sell. We will reduce taxes, "El-Badri said.

"I think the market is comfortable and we (OPEC) already have 4.5 million barrels a day, that we can send the placing on the market. (there is) the fair market and stocks are high, "he added.

El-Badri said that crude prices remain above $ 100 per barrel, the remainder of the year, when asked if prices fall below this level.

Trade in oil fell to Asia Tuesday the invoice after Standard and Poor's report on the United States but geopolitical risks continue to drive the prices of the countries of the Arab higher, analysts said.

What should do the United States on the Middle East?

Is it possible America is about to reap what it has sown in the Middle East? There is no sense discussing or non-Iraq war was a stupid war started by a President with an axe to grind. It is the past, this is what it is.

Instead, America had better quickly get its act together and develop a plan that deals with how to handle the current unrest and the overthrow of the dictatorships in the Middle East. This response plan should be prepared without emotion, finger pointing or along party lines, we may be fighting for our existence.

United States brought down the dictatorship of Saddam, good or bad, that it is passed and with it the only deterrence and threat to the Iran gaining complete control over the Middle Eastdominated Muslims.

Overthrow of the Tunisia of his ' dictatorship has led to political unrest and violence throughout the region with the Egypt being the most recent and the most dangerous situation for the interests of the United States. It is quite possible a dominated Islamic radical Middle East could quickly begin a complete takeover of America by turning off the oil tap.

Hatred United, American, Muslim Middle East with the Iran handle the scenario together behind the scenes would not cave and turn back oil that it is a Jihad and their foot on our throat.

There is little debate that should be members of the force to obtain concessions from the enemy to return the flow of oil. Based on this hypothesis we will look at the current military situation, in that we find ourselves.

Our army in Iraq is poorly prepared counter a whole attack from outside forces surrounding the Iraq. Troops, although the best in the world, are exhausted from years of war and endurance of several rotations.

Our Forces in Afghanistan, which should have been removed years before we have repeated the error of the Russia, is unqualified and ill-equipped to fight the war of desert. It is not so the troops could not be reequipped and adapt to the war of the desert, but logistics is huge and sparse time.

We have thousands of soldiers stationed in Korea separating the crazy North Korean dictator, but of South Korea. South Korea is a great economic power which should be able to fight his own case of attack. Why continue to play the nurse? If the South Koreans need help, let them turn to the Japan, which also has much to lose if the North Korea operates the war such as the South.

Organize, equip and recycling of these troops in a fighting force deserted effective would not attainable unless we were engaged in a prolonged war. The immediate effects of a complete oil embargo on the United States of still not a conflict long term on our part. As our soldiers, our army mechanized fuel (petroleum) running would be fighting without water. It cannot last long.

Then, how America should respond to this new threat? Initially, our leaders had better stop bickering about health care and give the case urges the attention it deserves.

The troops of the Afghanistan should be taken as soon as possible, but as orderly as possible to ensure the safety of our soldiers. Withdrawal of type Viet Nam would be catastrophic, we are not running, we will redeploy.

Korea troops should pull down to numbers Advisor original of the 1950s. Korea of the North should go crazy and return to the war, it would quickly lead to a nuclear holocaust, because it would be folly for saber rattling in actual conflict. The North Koreans would destroy rather on both sides of the country suffer defeat in a conventional war, our troops have, therefore, no useful purpose except to increase the number of body.

The United States should immediately Institute a project. Immediately, when talking about Washington D.C., means in the future, as a red band, government bureaucracy and political manoeuvring would delay the effective implementation of the programme.

However, the announcement of a such action would show for Middle Eastand the rest of the world, the United States provides the plan to destroy America and is ready to implement all the means it considers necessary to protect our country.

A Gazan considerations about the murder of Jews in Triton

By Samah Sabawi

Morning news of Inspired murder broke out, I got a call from my father, a man from Gaza whose entire life was derailed by Isræls occupation of his country. He fuming: "nothing could justify these murders," he cried "even if we were to put an end to the occupation, harassment, brutality Isræls army and settlers-minute we entertain Act so criminals to kill a child with cold blodVi becomes no better than those whose actions we despise." His comment on my Facebook Wall licensed.

A day later, sent some of my Jewish friends me messages inquiring if it was true that the Palestinians in Gaza celebrate the killing of Jews. One of them asked "Is there a custom to distribute sweets after such events?" The messages came with multiple hyperlinks. I expected to see the usual calm hasbara websites, but to my surprise was a link to the Australian Herald Sun, which brings me to an article titled ' White House condemns assassination '.
The article had no mention of any Gaza celebrations, but was accompanied by a large AFP credited photograph of a man standing in a street in Gaza offers a small plate of sweets to two stick core flotte Hamas policemen. The only reference or clue to the banquet came in fotøts caption: ' a Palestinian man distributes sweets in the streets in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah on 12 March 2011 to celebrate an attack which killed five isrælske settlers on inspired solution near the West Bank city of Nablus. " I did some more research and found that the same article also appeared on Perth now, News.com.au and The Daily Telegraph.
From here I began an extensive search on the Internet. There were references to Gaza celebrations in a number of international media sites including Fox News and the Washington Post, but all references pointed to one original source – three photos of AFP cameraman posted at Getty images, so I followed the trail.
The three original pictures starred the same man with the same small sweet plate.  In the first shot he offers to plate for the two police officers; Second, he offers it to a man in a car at a traffic light that looks a little confused, but accepts the offer of sweets; and in the third photo, offers the same man candy small plate for an old Lady sitting on a sidewalk. In the light of the photos revealed nothing more than an average busy day in a street in Gaza with the normal amount of traffic, a couple of cars, vans, etc. There was nothing in the images to convey a feeling of joy or feast: there were no crowds, no smiling faces, no banners, no flags and no scarfs … in reality no people appeared in photos except for the man with the plate and his subjects. This was extremely unusual for a Gaza banquet.
But even if one assumes that this lone man with the sweet plate really celebrate, how on earth are doing something in the direction of making the international media? A Palestinian man in a population of 1.5 million offers a tray of deserts? The same newspapers that published these pictures also publish photos of coaches isrælske tourists standing on top of a Hill are celebrating while watching phosphourous rain falls on Palestinians under Isræls bombardment of Gaza in 2009? Double standards here is amazing.
It mattered little to no Palestinian faction claimed responsibility and even Hamas issued a statement saying that the Palestinians are not aimed at children. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said in an interview on Israel Radio: "Scenes such as these – murder of infants and children and woman slaughtered – cause any person with humanity to hurt and to cry." Frenzy of demonisation continues even though until this article was written, there was no real evidence that any Palestinians were involved in the murder.
Photos of the so-called Gaza celebrations become an internet sensation, because they provide desperately needed proof that the Palestinians are evil in nature. A headline from a hasbara site read "how to start a party in Palestine? You kill a Jewish family. "
The campaign to demonise, of course, is in full swing, and seems to have no moral boundaries. Hardly had the blood of murdered children's dried up the Ministry of public diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs in Israel rushed to free graphics images murdered children should be used as feed in the war to demonise the Palestinian people. The Minister – which authorised the release – said in an interview with the daily Haaretz isrælske "on the Internet the pictures really catch and circulating". What could be worse than people who murder children and then celebrate?
We do not learn from the tragic experiences of the Jewish history of the evil demonisation of a whole people? My reply to my Jewish friends inspired was quite simply; "Your people and mine deserve better than this".
