Many say the United States should butt out of their participation in the Middle East, what is with you?

We currently most academics and virtually all people Liberal-Socialist leaning in our nation in the belief that the way to solve the problems in the Middle East with respect to the participation of the United States is "win the hearts and minds"., but is this even possible is to ask in the recent history? What do you think such concepts?

Being "Aimée and respected" might not work, and it would be wonderful that if she could, however, it is not really seem likely to be trashing world media to the United States and Al Jazeera, well that is indeed daily. Okay, being "afraid and respected" I suppose that is the other option, because it is a little difficult to win the heart or mind, a person when the mass media that controls the minds of these populations is another order of the day? Have you read Henry Kissinger Essays - any thoughts on some of the Rand Think Tank articles on this subject?

Should we not take everything that also into consideration? While many have noticed that previous leaders have committed errors in Middle East and foreign policy, as is always the case, I am afraid current leader may worsen things and bring things to a point where the leaders of tomorrow will be the heroes of the third world warwars caused by any lack of their own and without policy options, as the stalemate has already been reached far prior. And before decide you on my comments here, have you read one of these books, and please do not tell me that you have no time, or that it is too late, because we are in the midst of a potential crisis that could explode (literally) in our faces in Israel and in surrounding areas;

"Walking to Hell" by Michael Scheuer".""Bright as the Sun in Baghdad" by Bhatia "War footing" by Gaffney"Countdown ofJerusalem" by Hagee"Dangerous power" by Chomsky"The threatening storm" by Pollack".""UN exposed" by Shawn".""War and decision" by Feith

Avoiding thus the third world war would be good, now at least the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be wonderful and much requested will be he never peace in this region? It is indeed possible, it is possible, and although that unlikely, the solution must be long term. Our strategies of State Department diplomatic good-Guy-Bad Guy are often ephemeral and even if we all go home and ourselves for a well-done job congratulate this hour, last, or perhaps the next time, just what we have done is struck can in the alley way. Is - this really good enough?

Perhaps our best thinkers must brain storm on this subject, and we need to get on the same page. We should not blame the last administration - look at what they had to deal with. Either way, I am not an apologetic President Bush because I followed the situation all the time and watched events take place and change the media. Recently, I found the film Green Zone to be less honest with reality and only showing one side of a very complex situation. I am afraid that we have written history and allowed media garbage of our nation and the former President. And, in doing so, those opposed to will be once again, because they can.

Thus, I do would be not placed too confidence by winning a media war in one of our involvement in the Middle East. If we do anything, we must be prepared to take this hit of media, or out Al Jazeera in advance and gets in another matter, and it is somewhat diametrically opposed to what we pretend that we defend here in our own country.

Therefore, if we continue shaping our diplomatic policy, war strategies and decisions of how we are going to be seen by the media around the world, then why not just hand over the keys to Washington DC and send everyone home? Think that, as the media are now our fourth branch of Government, and it controls the other three, and the spirit of the American people, a tragedy what pure and absolute, much worse that Greek tragedy.
